2010 Vegas Cup MLK Weekend

FC Las Vegas invites you to submit an application for the 2010 Vegas Cup MLK Weekend. The tournament will be held in Las Vegas, NV on Martin Luther King Jr. Day Weekend, January 15-18, 2000.

We are very excited to announce the 2010 Vegas Cup will be returning to the Betty Wilson Soccer Complex. Along with the Bettye Wilson Soccer Complex, we will also be using 4 full-sized grass fields at the new Kellogg- Zaher Complex, formerly known as the Buffalo Washington Complex. The 2 facilities are approximately 1.5 miles apart and were the host fields to the 2007 USYSA Region IV Regional Championships.

The 2010 Vegas Cup gives teams the opportunity to play against top level competition while enjoying their 3 day holiday weekend in one of the most exciting cities in the world, Las Vegas. Last years tournament brought teams together from 12 different state associations including Arizona, Cal North, Cal South, Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas North, Utah, Washington and Canada. As we enter the 7th year of our tournament, we continue to strive to make this the best tournament experience for all the players and their families. As with our previous tournaments, we will focus on providing the highest quality product and service. Vegas Cup provides benches, water and gatorade to all participants during their competitions.

We express our continued appreciation to Adidas for their support of this tournament and FC Las Vegas. All tournament games will have game balls provided by Adidas.

The tournament has booked a large number of hotel rooms at all types of properties. All teams requiring hotel rooms must use one of our approved tournament hotels. Please check our hotel link for a list of the tournament hotels.

Final Online Rosters: All online rosters should be finalized by January 8, 2010. Rosters will be printed on Saturday the 9th, so any players not on the roster by the 9th will have to be handwritten in at check-in. We use the gotsport/gotsoccer rosters for the tournament. Guest Players: Are you a player wanting to guest play with a team in Vegas Cup? If so click here and you can register in the guest player pool and get in contact with teams looking for players. If your team is looking for guest players you can view the guest player pool and contact potential guest players by logging in to your account through the "login" link to the left, clicking on the vegas cup mlk weekend event, then the "guest players" tab. Any guest players for your age group will appear below.
Travelling Teams Hotel Form: Teams travelling to VEGAS CUP from outside the Las Vegas area are required to obtain hotels from our approved hotels list. All travelling teams must complete and return their Hotel Information Sheet (Excel Document) to Vegas Cup by November 20, 2009.
Team Check-In Information: Tournament check-in will take place Friday, January 15th from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at the Bettye Wilson Soccer Complex. It will take place in our heated hospitality tent with light food and drinks available. Teams playing Friday night will be able to check-in starting 90 minutes before their game at the complex they are playing at. All teams particpating in the 2010 Vegas Cup MLK Weekend are required to check-in. Teams and/or players without proper paperwork and/or player cards will not be allowed to participate. For information on what is needed for check-in please visit our Rules Page. Teams travelling with US Club Soccer Player Cards do not need travel paperwork. US Club Soccer Teams only need US Club Soccer Player Cards, Medical Releases, copy of player birth certificates and US Club Soccer Roster. This is only for teams and players that are members of US Club Soccer and have player cards and roster with the following logo on it:
